Yasmeen is driven to help. As a trusted family law lawyer at Anthony Family Law, she helps clients in high-conflict family disputes, with a focus on children. While maintaining a general family law practice, Yasmeen has honed her skills in negotiating child protection, parenting time and decision-making, and child support.

Yasmeen is committed to ensuring her clients are heard and supported, especially at their most vulnerable.

Inspired by her parents and all they have achieved, Yasmeen applies that determination to negotiating and achieving her clients’ goals with Anthony Family Law. She goes above and beyond—such as getting a last-minute motion for her client to take her children to another province to attend a funeral despite the significant resistance of the opposing party. Her clients appreciate her compassion as their legal advocate through stressful family conflicts.

Yasmeen is a proud member of the inaugural cohort of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she received her J.D. At Lincoln Alexander, Yasmeen completed a work placement at the Ontario Court of Justice Youth Criminal and Family Law Division in downtown Toronto. This experience gave Yasmeen a deep understanding of the Ontario court system and how judges make decisions. It demonstrated that genuine compassion can bring about successful resolution.

Yasmeen is a member of the executive committee of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund, Toronto branch.
